Terms & Refund Policy

1. Who we are

Easy Tech Academy ("we", "us", "our") is an online learning platform operating at courses.easytech365.com. We sell online video courses in practical technology skills. By creating an account, buying a course, or using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Your account

• You must give accurate information when you sign up, including a working email address, so we can send your receipt and certificate.
• Your account is for one person only. You are responsible for keeping your password private and for everything that happens under your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to buy a course.
• Tell us immediately if you think someone else has accessed your account.

3. Enrolment and payment

• All prices are shown in Nigerian Naira (₦) on the course page and at checkout. The price shown at checkout is what you pay.
• Payments are processed securely by Paystack. We never see or store your full card details.
• Course access is a one-time payment — there is no subscription and no recurring charge.
• Access is granted automatically once your payment is confirmed. If you were charged but did not get access, contact us and we will fix it or refund you in full.
• We may change our prices at any time. A price change never affects a course you have already bought.

4. What you get

When you buy a course you get a personal, non-transferable licence to watch the lessons and use the course materials for your own learning, for as long as we operate the platform. We call this "lifetime access" — it means we will not charge you again, and we will not take the course away from you for no reason.

We may improve, update, re-record, or reorganise course content at any time. If we ever have to permanently discontinue a course, we will give enrolled students reasonable notice and a chance to download or finish what they have paid for.

5. How you may and may not use our courses

You may:

• Watch the lessons as many times as you like, on any of your own devices.
• Use what you learn freely in your own job, business, or projects.

You may not:

• Share your login with anyone else, or let more than one person use your account.
• Download, record, copy, re-upload, or redistribute our videos or materials.
• Re-sell, sub-licence, or teach our course content as your own.
• Try to break, bypass, or interfere with the website's security, payment, or access controls.

Breaking these rules is a serious matter — it is how a small education business loses its livelihood. If you break them we may suspend or close your account without a refund, and we may take further action to protect our rights.

6. Certificates

• When you complete all the lessons in a course, we issue you a certificate of completion with a unique Certificate ID.
• Anyone can confirm a certificate is genuine on our verification page.
• A certificate confirms that you completed our course. It is not an academic degree, a professional licence, or an accredited qualification, and it does not guarantee any job or income.
• We may cancel a certificate that was obtained by fraud or by breaking these terms.

7. Discount and referral codes

• Discount codes reduce the price at checkout. They have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
• Each code may have a usage limit and an expiry date. Once a code reaches its limit or expires, it stops working.
• Codes are for the person or group we gave them to. We may cancel or disable any code at any time, including if it is shared publicly or used in a way we did not intend.
• Only one code can be used per purchase, and codes cannot be applied after a payment is completed.

8. Our intellectual property

All course videos, written materials, worksheets, branding, and the website itself belong to Easy Tech Academy and are protected by copyright. Buying a course gives you permission to learn from it — it does not transfer ownership of anything to you.

9. Educational purpose — no guarantees

Our courses are provided for education and skills development. We teach practical methods that work for us and for our students, but results depend on your own effort, circumstances, and the tools you use. We do not promise that any course will get you a job, a promotion, clients, or any particular level of income.

Third-party tools mentioned in our courses (for example ChatGPT, Claude, n8n, Make.com, Power BI, or Google products) are owned by their own companies. Their pricing, features, and availability can change at any time, and we are not responsible for those changes.

10. Limitation of liability

We work hard to keep the platform available and the content accurate, but we provide it "as is". To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim connected with a course or this website is limited to the amount you actually paid us for that course. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost business opportunities.

Nothing in these terms removes any right you have under Nigerian consumer protection law that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Suspending or closing an account

You may stop using your account at any time and ask us to delete it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, abuses discount codes, shares course content, or is used for fraud. Where we close an account for a serious breach, no refund is due.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as our platform grows or as the law changes. The "last updated" date at the top always shows the current version. If we make a significant change, we will let enrolled students know by email. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any dispute will be handled by the Nigerian courts. If you have a problem, please contact us first — we would much rather sort it out with you directly and quickly.

When you can get a refund

You can request a full refund if both of these are true:

• You ask within 3 days of your payment date, and
• You have completed less than 30% of the course lessons.

You do not need to give a reason — though we always appreciate honest feedback, because it helps us make the course better.

Always refunded, no conditions

• You were charged twice for the same course.
• You were charged but never received access to the course.
• A technical fault on our side stopped you from using the course and we could not fix it.

When we cannot offer a refund

• More than 3 days have passed since your payment.
• You have completed 30% or more of the course lessons.
• A certificate has already been issued to you for that course.
• The account shared login details, downloaded, or redistributed course content.
• The purchase was made with a discount code that was obtained or used improperly.

How to request a refund

Message us on WhatsApp at 07056564837 or email support@easytech365.com with:

• The email address on your Easy Tech Academy account,
• The name of the course, and
• Your payment reference from the receipt we emailed you (it starts with ETA-).

How long it takes

• We reply to every refund request within 2 business days.
• Once approved, we submit the refund to Paystack immediately.
• The money is returned to the same card or bank account you paid from, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
• We refund the amount you actually paid. If you used a discount code, that is the discounted amount.
• Your access to the course ends once the refund is approved.
